This business mission, which will include Business-to-Business Meeting sessions and technical visits, is organized by the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade of Italy (ICE), the General Confederation of Italian Industry (CONFINDUSTRIA) and the Association of Italian Banks (ABI).

Confindustria has long supported the internationalization of Italian companies. Through this mission it aims to help Italian companies in the search for potential business partners in Malaysia. Representatives from Italian financial institutions, head by ABI, will also be present to provide consultation service to Italian companies which might be in negotiation process and needs financing. It is essential that we do not only generate the prospects for our entrepreneurs, but also try to provide the means to close the deals. We look at every angle to ensure the objectives are attainable.

Sectors of Interest

The Italian structure of industrial production and the service industries is characterized by the prevalence of small and medium-sized companies which thrive on management flexibility, high technology and increased competitiveness which enable them to penetrate international markets, representing the Italian image throughout the world.

About 60 Italian companies will be here to explore various trade prospects as well as joint venture opportunities, technical collaborations and contract manufacturing. The targeted sectors are:
